Donna Desmarais, LMHC, NCC, CCMHC is a psychotherapist specializing in pre-teen and adolescent therapy, as well as family and military/veterans counseling. She maintains a private practice in Davie, Florida.
Ms. Desmarais has presented on the psychological implications of child abuse at the South Florida premier of the film, The Playground. She has also done presentations on adolescent psychological issues and treatment modalities at the Children's Services Council and Children's Diagnostic and Treatment Center.
Ms. Desmarais was interviewed and featured in a national news story on the trends and psychological issues related to teenage pregnancy.
